“Yea, the kings of the Gentiles shall be nursing fathers unto them, and their queens shall become nursing mothers; wherefore, the promises of the Lord are great unto the Gentiles, for he hath spoken it, and who can dispute? But behold, this land, said God, shall be a land of thine inheritance, and the Gentiles shall be blessed upon the land. And this land shall be a land of liberty unto the Gentiles, and there shall be no kings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles. And I will fortify this land against all other nations”. 3nd Nephi 10: 9-12

I believe that most Christians have very little faith and that if some new revelation or miracle occured, they, along with athiests, would question it. It is easy to believe in something that happened long ago to a primitive people.

If we open our eyes, we can see the hand of God working a plan. All the great things that God does is for the salvation of his children. Mormons believe that the constitution was inspired of God as part of his great plan. There needed to be a place on earth that was free enough for a new religion like Mormonism to flourish. Even here, it was tough for Mormonism to get a start.
